I'm not an opera fan, but any opportunity to hear Kallen Esperian sing becomes a priority.

Just recently Jerry and I returned from two weeks out of the country. After 30 hours of travel time, we got back home and into bed at midnight. Checking our home phone messages the next morning, we learned that Kallen was performing in concert that evening. We had not heard Kallen for about five years and we couldn't miss it. While on our trip we shared the sadness of the musical world at the death of Pavarotti, and we had thought about Kallen (a Pavarotti story in a moment).

That Kallen is a world class diva is confirmed by a review of her singing Aida in the Dresden Opera House. The newspaper, Sachsiscdhe Zeitieng, reported:
